Summary. EU AI Compass is designed as a privacy-first, zero-login app. Where the app supports assessments or checklists, inputs are intended to be stored on the user’s device. The app is not intended to create an attorney-client relationship and does not provide legal advice.
1) Who we are

2) Data processed by the app
- On-device content: user-entered assessment/checklist answers, stored locally on the device (if enabled in the app).
- Content updates: the app may retrieve read-only educational content and rule updates from a content service to keep materials current.
- Purchases: if you buy premium features, purchases are processed by the app store platforms (Apple/Google). The app may receive a purchase entitlement status.
3) What we do not do
- No mandatory user accounts for basic use.
- No sale of personal data.
- No advertising tracking.
4) Third-party services
Depending on the released build, EU AI Compass may use third-party processors for infrastructure, payments, and content delivery. These services may process limited technical data required to operate (for example, device/network metadata necessary for delivering content or validating purchases).
Before app submission: list the exact providers used in production (e.g., content hosting/CDN, purchase entitlement service) and ensure App Store Connect / Google Play disclosures match reality.
5) Retention and controls
On-device information remains on the device unless you delete it using in-app controls (if available) or uninstall the app.
6) Updates
We may update this policy. The effective date above indicates the latest version.
