Move78 International Limited is a private limited company incorporated in Hong Kong SAR. We provide AI governance tools, compliance resources, and regulatory readiness support to technology companies, financial institutions, and SMEs operating across Asia-Pacific and Europe.
Our core focus is helping organisations that develop or deploy AI systems understand their regulatory obligations under the EU AI Act (Regulation 2024/1689), ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF, and related frameworks. We deliver practical governance programmes, not theoretical compliance exercises.
We also develop digital compliance tools, including the EU AI Compass mobile application — a privacy-first utility for SMEs navigating EU AI Act requirements.
In 2016, during Game 2 of the historic match between Google DeepMind’s AlphaGo and world champion Lee Sedol, the AI played Move 37 — a decision that no human professional would have considered. It was the moment the world recognised that AI could outperform human intuition in structured domains.
But in Game 4, Lee Sedol played Move 78. Against all odds and expert predictions, a human found the creative, unexpected play that the algorithm had not anticipated. It was the only game he won — and it remains one of the most celebrated moments in competitive Go history.

Now focused on AI governance, GenAI risk controls, and helping organisations build practical compliance programmes for the EU AI Act era.
